Coaches must be in good standing prior to instructing at a club or skating school.
All club and skating school administrators have access to the Coach Eligibility Tool through the Membership Site. In addition to the Coach Eligibility Tool, a coach’s NCCP status must be verified by following the onscreen instructions from the coach eligibility screen.
From the Coach Eligibility Tool search for the individual then click on “View Details”.
The “View Details” screen will display the following items:
- Coach is in good standing: Yes or No
- Coach Assessor Qualifications. STAR 1-5 Assessor Training and/or Qualified Skills Coach Assessor (STAR 6 – Gold Qualified Skills Coach Assessor).
- NCCP renewed status. Click on the onscreen “click here” to access the coach’s public NCCP transcript to ensure all the coach’s statuses are renewed.
