For the 2019-2020 season, the minimum requirement to achieve a step sequence level base (StSqB) in Juvenile Singles and Pairs is being updated to requiring full ice coverage from half ice coverage. This will match the ISU definition for a step sequence, and is being communicated now given possible impact on choreography.
This update, and all other updates to Competitive Singles, Pairs and Ice Dance categories will be communicated in updated Technical Requirements Guides in early July.
