ISU Communication 2495 – Synchronized skating changes accepted at the 2022 ISU Congress
Including:
- Change to minimum age for Junior starting in 2023-2024 season
- New Program Component Definitions – three program components: Composition, Presentation, and Skating Skills
- Junior team may consist of 12 to 16 skaters
ISU Communication 2494 – Singles, Pairs and Ice Dance changes accepted at the 2022 ISU Congress.
Including:
- Change to minimum age for Junior starting in 2023-2024 season
- New definition of Jump Sequence
- New Program Component Definitions – three program components: Composition (Pattern Dance – Timing), Presentation, and Skating Skills
- Junior Singles Free Program: Step Sequence Replaced with Choreographic Sequence
All changes outlined Communications 2494 and 2495 will be implemented for all domestic categories scored with CPC. More details on domestic implementation of the Program Component Definitions will be available in due course.
