For the 2022-2023 season only the Novice Pair assessment requirements will be as follows: At least one partner must have passed the STAR 10 Program (or equivalent) Freeskate Assessment or higher. The other partner must have passed the complete STAR 5 (or equivalent) Freeskate Assessment or higher.
Skate Canada will be undergoing a thorough review of assessment requirements for all disciplines and levels for future season. Outcomes of this review will be communicated prior to 2023-2024 season.
