Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions imposed on daily training, Skate Canada is extending the upper age of the following categories for the 2021-2022 season only:
- Juvenile Singles U15: must not have reached the age of 15 by July 1st preceding the competition.
- Pre-Juvenile Pairs: must not have reached the age of 15 by July 1st preceding the competition.
- Juvenile Pairs: must not have reached the age of 17 by July 1st preceding the competition.
- Juvenile Ice Dance: must not have reached the age of 17 by July 1st preceding the competition.
- Juvenile Synchronized Skating: all skaters must not have reached the age of 15 by July 1st preceding the competition.
