Update to Novice Pairs Free Program Requirements 2018-2019 Season

At its Congress (June 4-8), the ISU will be determining changes to both Junior and Senior Pairs Free Program content, with that change to take effect for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. At that time the ISU will determine whether to remove the Solo Spin or the Choreographic Sequence.

Following consultation with the Skate Canada pairs coaching community it has been determined that once changes have been approved by the ISU, the same change will be made to the Novice Pairs Free Program, and will also take effect at the start of the 2018-2019 season.

Changes to Novice, Junior and Senior will be reflected in a revised and republished Pairs Quick Reference Guide and in Competitive Pairs Program Requirements published in the next few weeks.
